Founder and Chairman, David De Spong (Add brief bio)

 

David De Spong is an entrepreneur, business owner and experienced senior executive.  He has managed global business operations for a Fortune 100 technology company and developed new technology to help organizations improve and grow.  He has a track record of growth.  He is a disruptor, visonary and innovator.  As the founder of the non-profit member association, Outcome Management Institute, David advocates a new way of managing people and organizations so that both achieve greater success.  OMI’s mission is to provide governance, education and community in the practice of Outcome Management.  It is David’s responsibility to provide and support an engaging community that brings thought leaders, business leaders and practitioners, sharing best practices and working to eliminate the divisive disconnects that separate individual efforts from organizational results.   Working together, David knows we can improve shared success by utilizing known principles that connect tactics with strategies of individual effort with organizational results.  OMI was built on the foundational belief that individuals and organizations can achieve more.

Institute Executive Director, Fred Nickols (Add brief bio)

Fred Nickols is a writer, consultant and thought leader in the areas of individual, process and organizational performance.  Other areas of interest where he has demonstrated proficiency include strategy, knowledge management, communities of practice, change management and organization development (OD).  Fred’s background includes a 20-year career in the United States Navy (1955-1974) and one in the private sector as a consultant and an executive.   Fred served as Senior Vice President for Systems and Operations at Monarch Financial Services (1987-1990) and at Educational Testing Service (ETS) as Executive Director, Strategic Planning & Management Services (1990-2001).  Fred’s consulting career includes stints as Director of Consulting Services at Manpower Development, VP and Director of Consulting Operations at The Athena Corporation and founder and president of Systems Corporation of America, a consulting firm he sold to pursue a career as an independent consultant.  Currently, he is Managing Partner of Distance Consulting LLC, a firm he founded upon leaving ETS in 2001.  Fred has published widely on a variety of subjects of interest to managers, executives and other consultants.  Copies of his many publications can be found on his web site at www.nickols.us.  Fred can be reached via email at fred@nickols.us.

She is a writer and Contributing Editor at Project Eve, an international resource that is helping women business owners.  She is Board and Program Chair of MIT Enterprise Forum Phoenix, CMO and Managing Director, Sales & Marketing Practice at CKS Advisors, a value creation organization utilizing capital, knowledge and strategies to accelerate growth. As founder and President of Artful Thinkers, a consultative sales and marketing company, she combines creativity and strategic business solutions that generate results. As an outsourced CMO experienced in B2B and B2C sales and marketing, her clients served are in various industries including digital media, technology, software, retail, golf, web, education, finance and professional services.
